Pegasus Boys’ Prayer Requests

Note:  With few exceptions these prayer requests are written identical to the way they were received.

Please pray:

1.      For a friend who had heart surgery, a friend in Cherokee dorm & a family who had an accident.

2.      Dear God, I pray not for me this time, but for everyone.  I want all to know not to hate. Hate gets you nowhere.  It brings you down.

3.      Forgive people, not because of what they did, but because of who they are.  If you lost someone, like I have, don’t hide your grief.  Remember – you are not alone.  Jesus will always be with you!

4.      Give me strength to keep doing good & bless all of my family to stay safe & healthy.

5.      That my friend & I can strengthen our relationships when I leave Pegasus.

6.      Lord, keep my family safe & let them grow in Jesus.  Amen.

7.      For my Mom & family to get better.

8.      Don’t pray while it’s bad, if you don’t give thanks while it’s good.

9.      Bless everyone & help me get my Legos box back & help me get out of here to home, not jail.

10.  That God can make me change, so I don’t leave Pegasus negative.

11.  For my biological Father, who I have never met.

12.  Lord, help me with behaviors & thank You for helping me on Your time, not mine. I know You have a good life for me.

13.  Help me to stay on track & hopefully see my family.

14.  That my Mom & Brothers are safe & can come & see me next family day.

15.  That You bless my Aunt & Uncle & keep them safe.

16.  That my family gets home safe & next family day, we can go off campus & have fun.

17.  Dear Lord, I’m going through a lot right now and I am lost.  I need Your help.  I know You have a reason for everything that’s happening to me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

18.  In memory of my Dad, who passed away 9-24-2017.

19.  Help & bless my family to overcome their sickness.

20.  I’m going through a lot of emotional stress, Lord.  Please help me, plus I’m still showing my Phoenix behaviors when I’m at Kiowa.

21.  To get on PPL & off close ops.  Bless me & my family.

22.  That I get done with the program before April & can rebuild my relationships.

23.  For the Tejas staff.

24.  For someone to find my Mom & help her.

25.  For me to be good & get my Phase 3.

26.  That I will be able to forgive myself for what I did to get here & have the strength to stop being so mad with myself  all the time.

27.  That I stay on PPL & go to zero hours.  For my family.  In Jesus’ name.

28.  That my family made it home safe on family day.  Amen.  Thank You & praise the Lord!

29.  Bless all the staff who help us here at Pegasus.

30.  That You help all the Phoenix dorm to find You.

Note:  With few exceptions these prayer requests are written identical to the way they were received.

Remember the Serenity Prayer: “Lord, grant me the SERENITY to accept the things I cannot change; the COURAGE to change the things I can; and the WISDOM to know the difference.

    Sunday February 25,

8:30-10 AM, Gerry Gott will be our speaker.   Don't miss it!

    Visit the
    EVENTS page to see what
    happened during the morning
worship service. Last Sunday our speaker was Ken Moreland.

There are 361 young men listed on the Honor Roll Section of the
PRAYER LIST.  Please pray for each one as they face the challenges of the outside world.

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

    Romans  8.38-39

    Thoughts from the Pegasus Staff:

People are often unreasonable & self centered; forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives;  be kind anyway.

If you are honest, people may cheat you; be honest anyway.

If you find happiness, people may be jealous; be happy anyway.

Good you do today, may be forgotten tomorrow; do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough;  give your best anyway.

For you see, in the end it is between you and God.  It was never between you and them anyway.

    Recent Letters

Hey my name Eric.  Before I went to Pegasus I believe in Jesus as my savior but not really that much and while I was there I don't know wat it was but something told me to go to church one day and I went and I pretty much went every Sunday.  Yes I miss some Sund and wish I didn't.  I went to bible study every  Friday  and learned more about the bible and Jesus helped me since day one he showed me who he was in ways I can't explain and helped me leave that place successfully and after that I believe that Jesus is my savior and he died on the cross for all of me and your sins and he rose up on the third day and I want to thank ms.Liz for taking me to church and helping me believe in Jesus more thank you ms.Liz

    Dear Ministry Team,

God bless you all.  I love that song “God’s Not Dead”.  That will forever be my favorite song.  Like God said; “All sins will be forgiven”.  I will walk and tak to Jesus Christ the Lord and yes He is the author of Salvation.

I need to walk the straight line like you told me to walk.  Please God bless them and like Jesus said; “Peace be with you”.

     PS:  Jesus Rocks

    Today Dear Lord,

I will live in hope.  If I become discouraged, I will turn to you.  If i grow weary, I will seek strength in You.  In every aspect of my life, I will seek strenght in you.  In every aspect of my Life, I will trust You.  You are my Father, Lord, and I place my hope and faith in you.

    I love you Jesus!

Received email: It has been about a month sense I left Pegasus. I have managed to stay out of trouble. But I need prayer. I have two foster brothers who keep trying to test my limits.  I also still read the boys prayer requests. Let them know that there are going to be some rough times ahead of us all.  Tell them to stay true to the faith. Tell them no matter what happens resist Lucifer  and fight the good fight of faith. Also tell them to look out for each other because we are all  brothers in Christ
